And I'm calling it for Je Reve! Congrats, Je Reve, you will be rewarded richly in the life hereafter for so brilliantly completing the quiz. You got all but one right. #1, science is involved, but it's not Weird Science. Here are the answers:
1. She's Blinded Me with Science, Thomas Dolby
2. One Night in Bangkok, Murray Head (Chess soundtrack)
3. Honeycomb, Jimmie Rogers
4. Loves Me like a Rock, Paul Simon
5. Low, T-Pain
6. Grandma's Feather Bed, John Denver
7. Hey Baby, No Doubt
8. Bette Davis Eyes, Kim Carnes
9. Don't Leave Nobody but the Baby, Emmylou Harris (Oh Brother Where Art Thou)
10. Never Loved a Man, the Queen of Soul (aka Aretha Franklin
I was surprised more people don't know Honeycomb. That's a great old song. And I thought Bette Davis Eyes would be easy so I only gave a short clue. Paul Simon's album Negotiations and Love Songs is one of my top ten albums of all time. It's true. I crush on Paul Simon. And Aretha Franklin has been one of my nearest and dearest musical companions for 25 years. If any of you gave me a quiz of contemporary music I would FAIL big time. I'm kind of a fogie. In the eighties I mostly listened to classic rock. I had to catch up.
So I'm as large now at 22 weeks pregnant as I was at 36 weeks with one baby. People tell me I "carry it well" so you might not notice. But if I've just eaten or have a full bladder, I walk with that tell-tale stretch, that arch in my back trying to give my body more room. Many of you know how that is. I took my last airplane flight last week and now I'm hunkered down for at least six months. Begin Full Gestation Mode.
If it brings you any comfort, I only made it to 32 weeks with my twins. So you could be done with pregnancy in the next 10 weeks - and then the hard part begins :)

w00t! Hooray for babies! And the pain they bring. (:P
But this means you will be writing a lot, right? I hope so. ^_^
Oh, you should do a classic rock iPod quiz! I LOVE 80's music. It's so much better than all the mainstream garbage nowadays. The only modern music I listen to is rock, and it's usually the "christian" rock stuff from Tooth & Nail records. Much better than whatever else that noise is on the radio.
Happy gestating!

Random fact: One Night in Bangkok singer Murray Head is the brother of Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Anthony Stewart Head)

Good luck with the unborn fledglings. My great-grandmother was 4'9" and had twins. She lived to tell the tale, but her husband was shocked at the dual births. He said only animals had more than one baby at a time (this was 1917). He warmed up within hours...

I crush on Paul Simon too. It began when I was on bed rest for 6 months with my oldest daughter and my husband brought home "You're the One" to surprise me. What a great gift! That CD is still one of my all time favorites.

So I was thinking... I was going to tell you about an experience I had, where someone was going to have a baby and then found out later that they were having twins, and it was a surprise...
And then I realized it was you. At least I think. Wouldn't that be embarrassing if I got the story wrong? :) Good luck!

I remember 22 weeks - I believe that was my last glimpse of the lower appendages before the twins arrived... I measured 51" around the waist at 38.5 weeks!
And just for some more other silly trivia: the songs in Chess (one of my faves too!) were written by Bjorn and Benny of ABBA fame... thus the awesome disco anthem (One Night in Bankok)smack in the middle!

Low is actually by Flo Rida and features T-Pain, but that's okay :D

I love reading about your experiences having twins, and I'm glad that you're so open about it. I feel like I'm getting a peek into what it must have been like for my mom when she was pregnant with my sister and me, which is pretty cool. I wish I could send your babies a present to say thank you. :-)

I think their should be a sequal to "Princess Acadamy". For it left an open doorway for another book at the end of the last chapter.
I think it should be based on the life of Miri and Peder and how they get more aquainted with the prince and princess. I think it would be lovely. What do you think????

There's a great radio website on the enternet called: "Pandora". It plays old songs and you can choose to pick and play them. They even play "Elvis" great hits of his time and others such as: "The Beatles". And more!! It's my mother's favorite station on the computer.
